Take Back the Night was held on April 29, 2005. There was a group of more than 100 people who met at Sawyer Point in Cincinnati, Ohio, and marched across the Taylor-Southgate Bridge and ended at the World Peace Bell in Newport, Kentucky. The main speakers were Roxanne Qualls, and Susan Bordo. Survivors of sexual violence also told their stories to the crowd. The night ended with a silent candlelight walk back across the bridge to Cincinnati.

The Clothesline Project
The Clothesline Project is a visual display that bears witness to the violence against women. Women who have survived violence such as rape, incest, or assault because of sexual orientatiom decorate shirts in tribute to their experiences. Shirts were also decorated in memory of women who have lost their lives to violence, by the friends and relatives of those women. We display the shirts to educate our community on the effects of violence against women.
